9am to 5pm
May 29th (Saturday)
Our Spring Poppy Drive will be held at Food City on the Asheville Highway in Greeneville from 9am to 5pm. Stop by and help support our local Veterans.

Post 1990 buys its Poppies from the VFW National Headquarters which provides compensation to the veterans who assemble the poppies, provides financial assistance in maintaining state and national veterans' rehabilitation and service programs and partially supports the VFW National Home For Children.
Plus the maintenance and expansion of the VFW National Home and other facilities devoted to the benefit and welfare of the dependents, widows, and orphans of disabled, needy or deceased veterans or members of the Armed Forces.
All of the donations collected from the Post’s Poppy drive are then placed in the Post’s Relief Fund for the aid, assistance, relief and comfort of needy or disabled veterans or members of the Armed Forces and their dependents, as well as the widows and orphans of deceased veterans of Greene County.
